Honest Voices. Real Moments. You, Just as you are.
There’s no one way to do life, womanhood, or motherhood.
Some of us stayed home. Some of us led teams. Some worked part-time, ran side hustles, waited tables, built businesses, or just tried to stay afloat. Every path is different—and none of them are easy. But most of us have one thing in common: we were doing our best, often without a map.
Michelle and I are just two examples. She was the corporate mom—juggling meetings and milestones. I was home with my boys through their early years, but kept nurturing my love for voice and theater between parenting and the thousand tiny tasks no one sees.
Neither path was perfect. We screwed up, got hurt, and some seasons nearly broke us. People watched, people judged—and we carried that, too. Both paths came with moments of self-doubt, growth, and unexpected joy. We each leaned into our strengths, stumbled through our weaknesses, and created space for who we were becoming.
No Advice, Just Real Talk
We’re not here to tell you how to do it. We’re not coaches, experts, or self-help gurus. We’re just two women who’ve lived a little, laughed a lot, and cried in bathrooms when life felt like too much. And we’ve made it to a place where we can look back with grace and forward with curiosity.
She Speaks Up is where we share the in-between moments—the ones that don’t always make it into highlight reels. It’s where we say the things we wish someone had said to us. Not because we have answers, but because we believe in the power of honest, open-hearted conversation.
We Don’t All Rise the Same Way—And That’s the Point
There’s no one right way to be heard. No checklist for stepping into your light. Some will march. Others will meditate. Some will lead companies. Others will lead conversations.
All are valid. All are needed.
We’re not here to critique other paths—we’re here to walk ours with intention, honesty, and a little bit of sparkle.
Maybe Our Stories Spark Something in You
Maybe something we say will make you laugh, nod, or feel a little less alone. Maybe it’ll remind you that there’s no single way to be a woman, a mother, a leader, or a dreamer.
There’s just your way—and that’s enough.
We’re all still becoming. And there’s something deeply powerful in speaking from exactly where you are—even if you’re still figuring it out.
Come Sit With Us (I promise, coming soon...)
She Speaks Up will be more than a podcast. We hope it becomes a reflection. A shared breath. A space to feel seen, held, and inspired.
We’re not polished. We’re present. And we’re so glad you’re here.
